5 kg Bumper Plates Hi-temp PRO is made of vulcanised rubber, which gives you a weight plate with some very special features.
The manufacturing method gives the weight plate a high durability, as the compressed rubber can withstand a few blows to such an extent without breaking.
This means that if you drop it, you will experience a higher "jump" than if you drop a barbell with iron weight plates. At the same time, the weight plates are quieter, so you will not experience that violent bang when the weight plate is dropped.
Bumper Plates Hi-temp PRO 5 kg have a diameter of 50 mm, which means that they can only be used on the barbells that are called Olympic barbells.
