Bumper plates The Hi-temp pro weight plates are made of vulcanised rubber, which means that the rubber is melted together at very high temperatures. This process is called vulcanisation.
The production method gives the weight plate some very special features.
If you do not know how vulcanised rubber feels or what it can do, think of an ice hockey puck. The vulcanisation makes the rubber both hard yet elastic at the same time.
Bounce and quiet
When you use Bumper Plates Hi-temp PRO 10 kg, you will find that this weight plate has a higher bounce rate. So it bounces more when you throw the barbell with the plates on after a hard lift.
The material itself also means that you get a relatively quiet weight plate, which does not make as much noise as, for example, weight plates made of iron when you throw the barbell on the floor after a hard lift.

- The diameter of the hole is 50 mm and therefore only fits special barbells.
- The thickness of the Bumper Plate Hi-temp PRO 10 kg is 59 mm.
