    The small spikes help you stimulate blood circulation, which has a relaxing effect and should help you relieve stress-related pain and tension in the body.

    The mat's 210 spike flowers and 6930 spikes are made of ABS plastic, and are attached to black soft cotton fabric.

    Get started with your acupressure mat

    We recommend that you take a start-up period, in a 14-day period, where you get your body used to the mat. Then you can gradually start using the acupressure mat more and more.

    Carefully lie down on the mat and spend time getting used to the spikes. For the first few minutes, you will probably experience some pain, but the pain will gradually subside. It is important that you let your body completely relax while lying on the mat.

    If the pain is too bad, you can put a thin piece of fabric over the mat (eg pillowcase, a sheet or a t-shirt), however, you get the most out of the mat without lying over anything.

    We recommend you start with 10 minutes on the mat the first few days, then you can turn the time up to 20 minutes and once you have learned what the mat gives you, you can gradually extend your time.
